We are a non-profit umbrella organization that represents approximately 150 member groups from around the Province. The purpose of the Society is to conserve BC's heritage, and we take an active interest in historic buildings, landscapes, trails, sites and other heritage resources. HSBC advocates sound and responsible heritage policy, legislation and practices to government, promotes awareness of the value of our heritage, and supplies information on a variety of subjects and issues
