| Victoria Butterfly Gardens opened its doors on May 21st, 1994 on the corner of Benvenuto Avenue in beautiful Brentwood Bay. As one of the largest Butterfly Conservatories in Canada, our privately owned facility consists of indoor, tropical garden built specifically for housing and breeding butterflies and moths from all over the world. Victoria Butterfly Gardens was designed to provide a natural "rainforest" environment and was one of the first Butterfly Houses to successfully breed tropical butterflies. The garden is computer regulated to create the necessary temperature (approximately 80 Degrees F) and humidity (approximately 85%) for the butterflies to carry out their life cycle and breed naturally in the garden. |
